So Long, and Thanks for All The Fish

(Note: This post’s title, “So  Long and Thanks for All The Fish”,  is of course the title of Douglas Adam’s fourth book in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. It’s a great title and it almost fits so we used it!

Thanks and Good Bye, So Long, and Thanks for All The Fish,,

AJ and Irene

After way too much thought, we have decided to shut down our website We are not playing much these days due to injuries (and C-19 concerns too, of course!). And without playing we believe we are no longer a reliable source of new pickleball information to share. Since freely sharing information was always our mission, without the ability to share contemporary information we believe we lose our relevance. Sad but true.

We often reflect on how many friendships we’ve made playing pickleball and being involved in the pickleball community and we will take many, many happy memories of pickleball with us. In the “good old days” when pickleball was an emerging sport we felt honored to have been able to make a small contribution to the growth of our great game. We wouldn’t trade those memories for the world.

With that, and unless something radical changes, we will not be in touch further. And FYI any information you are used to finding on (like Round-Robin sheets, club organizational stuff, training information, funding plans for new courts, etc) will no longer be available from our site.

All information, etc. will stay ‘live’ until September 15, 2020. At that point, unless something unforeseen happens, we go dark, as it were. And thanks again, for all you’ve done for the sport, and for us!

xxoo, AJ and Irene
