Whether you are developing a pickleball club’s training program, want to move your game to the next level, or are simply looking for some advice and consul about how to hit a better third shot/drop shot, this section is for you!
Contained within this section are upwards of twenty training programs, help on drills, strategy discussions, video clips on specific mechanics, examples of what to do and what not to do and more.
Below, and again on the sidebar on the right, are some examples of areas that may interest you. If you don’t see exactly what you are looking for, try the Overall Site Map at the bottom of this page, or the Search function in the upper right.
This is the “parent” training page, so if it’s training you are interested in, start here. There are three areas in training. One is the content of the courses, clinics, etc.
The second is the coordination of the training program itself. Here’s an example of a coordination document that we’ve used that’s helped with the overall organization of a training program within the club.
The third is communication to the members and getting feedback from the participants. These three areas are, first, discussed briefly here and then links are given to appropriate resources. Here’s an example of a message we’ve sent to members of one of our clubs communicating about the overall training program. Note that there are other things mentioned like “Paddle Demo Day”. These special events were considered part of training.
Beginner Training has, within it, links to beginner training plans, course outlines, evaluation forms, drills and more. But there are also intermediate and advanced programs, strategies, and more on these page.
